Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Covid Murals preview party on May 12 and the exhibit from May 13-22 have been postponed. Purchased tickets will be refunded in full.
UPDATE:
You can see the murals at the: 10th anniversary of the Desert Companion Photo Contest being held at 920 S. Commerce Street on Tuesday, May 31st, from 530-730 PM.
The Covid Murals Exhibit is a collaborative effort between the 18b Las Vegas Arts District, the Downtown Vegas Alliance, First Friday Foundation, the city of Las Vegas, Mojave Events and local business owners - all working together to showcase these unique, one-of-a-kind murals, which were created during Phase 1 of the COVID-19 pandemic mandatory business shutdown. This collaboration was created to help showcase the works and share the story of how artists and businesses came together during this time of crisis and darkness to create something colorful and beautiful - while helping the entire Las Vegas community heal.
Proceeds of this exhibit will benefit the smART Initiative a 501(c)3 organization and will support grants for the 18b Arts District and the artists who created the murals.
